Jerk in output while using unreal with Vset
Resolution:
*). Stop sending place holder to unreal as it is not working.(Pending at unreal side) *). GPU reduce at wasp end while processing unreal buffers. Used unreal buffers as input directly in shader and used unwrap of dx9 texture as output(render target) of shader
*). Sync wasp application prerender & render with unreal game thread & render thread through WaspCamera plugin
*). Used BufferPool class for unreal textures. WTextureShare thread is being pushed in buffer pool class and we pop it in render thread and StretchRect on two(Depth & Color) dx9 textures kept for the use in wasp templates only.
*). Pass camera data to unreal before scene prerender
*). Fast render when ToR queue size increase in engine and output buffer size are less than 3 and no camera movement. Handle decimal value comparison.

The summary missing for pie1, pie2, and pie3 from the variable pool.
Reason: Create data table is async call. Designer calls GetNode of wrapper object & gets table. On some slower machine first time table is not returned because it is not created then. While after loading scene again it shows.
Resolution: ObjectPrepared event raised after table creation desinger will get table after this event.

Bug Fix

Unable to pass SCTE 104 Signal in SD Reason : The Ancilliary Data was getting corrupted by AJA Resolution: 2 Files(AncillaryList.cpp and .h) were provided by AJA and was asked to call a function that removes all the other packets apart from SCTE from the Ancilliary Data because of which the SCTE data was getting hampered Impact Area: Test for SCTE data in HD mode
Guide info text visible blur in full view port screen Reason: The guide info text font size remains the same in both the default viewport and full viewport screen. Resolution: Update the guide info text font size based on the viewport's height and width. Impact Area: Check guide info text while changing the viewport height or width.
Uniform material shows particle material color on applied image texture. Reason: "_DepthWriteRenderTxtr" pointer was getting NULL value. Resolution: Added Sanity check before SetTexture. Test Case: 1) this issue 2) Considering 2 materials (eg standard & uniform).

16th Aug 2024 - 6.5 - 6.5.30.1650 - Latest Common setup required

Bug Fix

After play mp3 audio file having video frame from placeholder on server mentioned issues are coming
Reason:
In these files there is only one video packet and with new FFMPEG SDK workflow Receive_Frame() does not return video frame in first time and since there are no more video to send the loop to get video frame and initialize all buffers gets stuck and hence the delay.
Also, when changes were made for video jerk issue, this case was not considered in those changes.

Resolution:
In such files NULL packet is sent immediately to flush video decoder and receive frame, rather than waiting for file end. (In other cases, NULL packet is sent on file end)
In these files also locked video packet is freed in UpdateTexture()
For Audio only files keep on playing even after pausing some flags were reset.

Reason: Framereate difference in video and engine.Another reason was that queues were not getting cleared in this case

Designer getting crashed when we unchecked poly from Target shape property then checked it in Instancing object
Reason: Source is NULL while doing memcpy
Resolution: Added a sanity check to ensure safe memcpy execution

Not able to move and Delete the Guides
Reason: HitTest was failing due to changes done in mesh creation of guide for the fix of bug mentioned in impact area.
Resolution: Reverted the previous fix and disabled the Z ENABLE.

*) Guide line, triangle, info display box and info text.

Feature Implementation

Set Engine BB and ImGui resource ratio and ImGui refresh rate in OutputCard.xml Reason: Presented frame quality is not good if we render full frame in Std server because ImGui Buffer and BB buffer ratio is 1:2 Resolution: BB and ImGui buffer ration given in Outputcard Xml. Issue: https://waspsource.beesys.com/Products/WASP_PLAYOUT_4/-/issues/4540 Note: Common & Bin both required because there are changes in Engine idl and Engine wrapper.

10th Aug 2024 - 6.5 - 6.5.30.1645

Bug Fix

MIP map property is not working on Uniform material if the texture is applied on 2nd,3rd and 4th stage
Reason: Constant "TextureSize " was set globally in New Uniform Shader.For Old Uniform, "TextureSize" shader constant value was not set.
Resolution: Set the "TextureSize" locally according to stage for new uniform. For Old Uniform, Set the "TextureSize" shader constant Value.

Test Cases:
*) MipMap On/OFF on all Texture Stages and texture types(Texture,Mirror,Xray etc) of Uniform Material,Old Uniform Material
*) Working of MipMap on Save & Reopen the scene .
MIP Level of texture not working if texture type is a mirror of uniform material
Resolution: Code Correction done in Mirror and Xray Fragment.
If the material's addressing mode is set to "clamp", the texture applied to it becomes blank when enabling landscape mode.
Reason: Negative Texture Coordinates when Landscape is ON in texture addressing modes other than "WRAP" leads to undesirable results.
Resolution: Corrected the texture coordinates when Landscape is ON in texture addressing modes other than "WRAP".

Test Cases: Working of "Landscape" property in Standard, Uniform, Particle, Old Uniform Materials and Browser Texture with all addressing modes ("WRAP", "CLAMP", etc.) at all texture stages with all texture types ("Texture", "Opacity", etc.)
Sprite object disappear on Landscape mode
Reason: Negative Texture Coordinates when Landscape is ON in texture addressing modes other than "WRAP" leads to undesirable results.
Resolution: Corrected the texture coordinates when Landscape is ON in texture addressing modes other than "WRAP".
Impact Area: Landscape Property in Sprite
Test Cases: Working of Landscape in Sprite with all addressing modes ("WRAP", "CLAMP", etc.)
Date-Time variable values getting created incorrect While saving the CountDownTarget property as a variable
Reason: When we saved the countdown target property as a variable for the first time,
the countdown time value was 0. Because of that, 1/1/1601 was displayed in the created variable.
Resolution: If the countdown time is not set by the user, return the current system time.
Impact Area: Check countdown on changing date-time from countdown property or wired variable.
Camera offset issue in wasp and unreal with virtual camera.
Reason: We are getting horizontal FOV in wasp in virtual camera. and we were converting it to horizontal assuming that we are getting vertical.
Resolution: Now Fov conversion is written on the basis of FOV type. If it is horizontal than pass it to unreal as it is. Or if it is vertical than convert it to horizontal first than pass it to unreal.
Test Cases: Test camera offset and sync issue with track less and traced camera in Vset with unreal 5.4

1st Aug 2024 - 6.5 - 6.5.30.1639

Bug Fix

When the stop\goto in button is pressed multiple times blank video is displayed with following steps
Reason : Due to workflow changes a condition in pause was failing
Resolution: Condition removed since it is not required now.

Designer getting crashed in ucrtbase.dll when we apply Flip Flop Thing In Text preset in 3D Text
Reason: Reading xml attributes without validation assuming that attribute will available in xml.
Resolution: Reading xml attribute with validation and code optimized.
Pin parameters are not working when we use Pie with table text.
Reason: Due to fix of “The table text and AI do not animate simultaneously when the group is translated if these objects are added inside the group”.
Resolution: Reverted the respective fix
Vset crash on specific scene (Axalata scene)
Reason: Shader Compilation Error due to maximum ps_3_0 constant register index (224) exceeded after addition of new shader constant "DBMip".
Resolution: Reduced the total number of shader constants by clubbing similar constants together. Also, stopped crash on shader compilation failure.
Impact Area: Mip Level, Mip Map, Linear/Point, Landscape Properties in Standard, Old Uniform, Particle Materials

Copy/paste param is not working with polygon data of Ai
Reason: Source object polydata string member variable is not being updated. Becoz of it target shape does not update.
Resolution: Need to Update the Polydata String in GetParam & GetParamByName while returning final xml of polydata
Random server hang on playing ABP Asmita templates
Reason: Render thread is in dead lock with another thread executing actions of actionset. There were two nested critical section used. both thread acquire the crit sec in reverse order becoz of that both thread were waiting for lock.
Resolution: Applied the critsec in same order so who will get the first will finish the execution first and 2nd will wait.

Bug Fix

The visibility value appears incorrectly when toggling the visibility of Object 1 and then selecting Object 2 in designer mode, where vset scene loaded.
BUG: First time when Oscillation is active after scene load(FOV is different then AR FOV) and we load AR then it position is not up to the oscillation.

Bug Fix

Bug: When animating the preset and setting the preset position, reloading AR 2-3 times causes the AR position to deviate from the preset.
